Ahh, little Beau, thank you so much for you letter. You are a much better writer than your daddy. But it´s ok, maybe you can teach him. Haha just kidding Dev, you are the man. Congrats on getting the job. When do you start working and move to Phoenix? Tan Man, your workout program sounds awsome. You are going to be almost as strong as Ty Ty in his Captain America costume. Tara, the party looked so cool. I for sure would have gone to that party! And where can I find a cool Captain America suit like that? It would be perfect for pday. Oh Grandma Allen, Hermana Ojeda (the lady in our ward who you gave the pie recipe to) absolutely loves you. She had been asking for the missionaries for the last year for a recipe, and you were the first to come through for her. Everytime she sees me, she asks me to thank you. And I want to thank you too because now she bakes us a pie every week haha. Everytime it gets better and better. This last week, it was a perfect american apple pie. I was literally in heaven for a little bit!
Well, this week has been pretty good. We had interviews with Presidente Ávila last friday. They are always so awesome. I love that man and is so inspired. Im going to miss him when he leaves us in a few months. But he talked to me a lot about being a good leader in the mission and what we need to do to really welcome in Presidente Goates when he gets here.
This week we really focused on working with members, first starting with our bishop. Our bishop is a great guy, just a little difficult to work with at times. He just has his priorities set up for other parts of the ward and not in missionary work. We set up an appoitment with him to come out with us, but ended up falling through. But yesterday the real miracle happened. His 9 year old grandson Gonzalo, who is not a member, came to church with them and loved it. He even gave the closing prayer in Sacrament Meeting. So this week we will be starting to teach him which will have to cause bishop to get a little more involved with us. We are way excited about that.
Last week we found a man named Walter and his son Mariano. He lives across the street from us in a bodega (a run down winery). Walter told us about how he wants to be a good example for Mariano (who is 12) and raise him up in the faith. So they came to church with us yesterday and loved it. We had an awesome lesson with them yesterday afternoon about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and at the end they both accepted bautismal dates for the 10 of May that Elder Thomas extended. I thought he was going to shake right off the bucket he was sitting on haha. But it was so awesome and they just keep progressing everyday. Walter does have a little problem with the Word of Wisdom that he needs to work on, but nothing the Lord cant help with.
Leandro and Malena are doing great as well. They are going this Wednesday with Malenas Mom to sign the papers to recieve a date for their wedding!!! And then right after we will baptise her! They are so awesome and I absolutely love them!
Since iv gotten here we have been working with Marcelo Urrutia. Elder Christensen and I first helped him quit smoking and he has now been smoke free for almost 3 months. But ever since he has been coming to church every sunday. He wants to get baptised really bad, he is just waiting to get his divorcement so he can get married. But, he got a phone call last week and now has an appoitment this tuesday to go and talk to somebody about getting divorced. We are all so excited! We just keep seeing miracles happening left and right! It is sad to think that I may be leaving in three weeks after this transfer. But maybe not, we will see!!!
Well, just let me know what time we can skype at. Mom, sorry but i dont think i will be able to do a phone call. It just super expensive to call out of the country here. But we are a 4 hour difference here. What time do you have church at? We have it from 9-12 here making it 5-8 in the morning there. What ever works best for you guys. I love you all so much and have a great week!!

¡Felices Pascua!

Happy Easter!!!
Easter was a great day here in Rodeo! Basically just another day for us, which I was fine with. It helped me focus more on the true reason of Easter. It is an amazing day. Christ truly does live, and through him we will as well. He is my big brother and my best friend! Easter here is a little different. They have the a whole week leading up to Easter day known as ´´Semana Santa´´ or holy week. They dont eat any meat for the whole week (we ate a lot of fishy things because of it) and nobody was outside. So it the made the week a little dificult to work with. Jordy Poo, you looked beautiful in your Prom dress and it sounded like Prom was a lot of fun! Tan Man, Browns Boot Camp sounds awesome. Too hard for me, but luckily you are a lot tougher. But the only rule is you cant be bigger or stronger than me when I come home ok haha! Sounds like softball is going good for the girls. Good luck playing ironwood this week. Beat them extra bad for me please!! I didnt get a video of Ty seeing his easter basket, but I would love to please!!
Well this has been a good week. A little tougher with investigators going out of town for easter and Semana Santa, but it was still good. First of all, do you remember Leandro and Malena? We were working with them about a month ago until they moved out of our area. Well the missionaries have been working with them there, they have everything except for marriage to get baptised. Well they moved back into our area! They should be getting married in the next two weeks and then Malena will get baptised (Leandro is already a member). So that is exciting! I love that couple so much!
We didnt get to get together with Yolanda and Luis this week because they leaft town for Easter. So we are going to need to have a good powerful lesson with them and see how their desires are for baptism. But we found two solid new investigators this week. Patricia and Hugo. They were a reference from a member, but they both have so much faith but just dont know how to show it. We have only had the restauration lesson with them, but we are really excited to keep working with them. They have the cutest little grandaughter named Milagros (dont worry, not quite as cute as little Beau), that crawled/walked around during the lesson and kept trying to hop onto my lap. Im just like ´´I want to hold you so bad, but I cant, sorry milagros´´. Just a way cute girl.
Everything is going good with training here in Rodeo. Elder Thomas is doing good and is learning a little bit more each day. Mom, the 12 weeks program is the training program we have to help the new missionaries get adjusted to mission life and start learning the lessons. It requires another hour of studying each day giving us a total of 4 hours of studies, but it is so needed and literally is such an inspired program.
Dad, you turned my jeep into the vet car? That is crazy, but now you are rolling in style haha! Devin, good luck with your job interview this week. You will do great!  Im glad to hear that Scotty is doing good after his accident. Is he dating anybody? Oh one more thing. If I am correct Mothers Day is in 3 weeks, which means we get to skype!!! We need to figure out a plan of what time we are going to talk and everything. Just let me know what works for you!! I love you all so much! Have a great week and I will talk to you next week! ¡Cuidase!

Another week!!!

Buen Dia mis amores,
I love hearing about everything, sounds like everybody is more than great! Jordy Poo, have fun at Prom! Send me pictures!! Mom, for packages its not just super expensive, there are just not arriving here. Its getting pretty difficult for outside products to enter into the country. So sorry haha! Jordy and Naes, good job in softball!! keep on killing it! Tan Man, sounds like you are quite the golf  player. You too dad. We will all have to play when I get back! Also Dad, welcome to my world. Always tired haha! But dont worry about your prayer thing, the same thing has happened to me here haha! I love hearing about missionary work going on all around the world. Its just so exciting!!
So now I am here in Rodeo de la Cruz with Elder Derek Thomas from Las Vegas Nevada. He is fresh from the MTC, so it has been a lot of fun so far introducing him to not just missionary life, but missionary life in Argentina (much different than the MTC haha). But he is a good guy, hard worker with great desires, he just cant understand a word anybody is saying. But I have loved it so far. I have really loved doing the first 12 weeks program with him again. My trainers, though they are great missionaries, didnt do the program very well with me. So I have been learning a lot with it so far. Oh, so I was at the offices on wednesday to pick up Elder Thomas, and I was with Elder Webster who was also training in Rodeo de Medio (my birthplace!!). But then in walked Elder Bennett! So we got to have a fun Marana reunion. Nobody believed us when we told them that we all went to highschool together. Oh speaking of Marana High School, I dont know of any of you know or remember Derek Funcas. He graduated with me. But he got baptised the summer after graduation while at U of A. But he just got his mission call to Birmingham England speaking Chinese haha. Keep an eye out for him Jess. He is a way fun kid!
But now back to Argentina. It was a good week, always a little different when introducing an area, and especially to a brand new missionary. We got to meet with Yolanda, Luis, and the family once and had a good lesson with them. Yesterday we passed by to pick them up for church and ended up not coming. So we will need to change their baptismal date, but thats ok. We will continue working with them!
We also found another kid named Cristian this week. We have been trying to get in with his mom, but its difficult to find her  in the house. But we talked to Cristion and allowed us to come in for a bit. He first told us about how he didnt believe in God, so we bore testimony to him about the Lord. And after he had a lot of random questions for us. He basically thought we were just like any other church and missionaries. We explained to him about why were personally there with love for him. And after he was like ´´wow. I didnt know that´´. You could tell it really touched his heart. We were getting ready to leave and then he told us that he had only one more question. He asked ´´what is the Book of Mormon and who wrote it?´´. Yes, that will do it!!! So we sat right back down and continued teaching about the book of mormon. Leaft a copy with him and a committment to read it. It was a way cool lesson!!!
Well, everything is doing great here in Argentina. Its finally cooling down, I had to wear a sweater on Saturday and we slept without the fan last night. Yahoo!! The only bad thing is we dont have hot water for our showers in the morning.  But who cares. In the words of Jordy (and now Mom haha) Yolo!!! Have a wonderful week. I love you all so much!!

Gringo Room and Conference

1. Our awesome TV for conference. That is high quality HD right there haha!
2. The gringos of Zona Guaymallén

What a week!!!

Oh my goodness, conference was awesome wasnt it!! We had our ´´gringo room´´ upstairs in the stake center so we got to watch it english. And we got to see all of the sessions, even though the priethood session wasnt until 9 at night. But it was awesome!! I loved Eyrings talk about our heroes in life! Really hit home. I have so many examples and heroes. From superman (yea Ty Ty, I get to be superman ok) to the 2000 stripling warriors and then to Dad, Devin, and Dallin. It was way aweome! Well this week ended another transfer!!! Elder Christensen is leaving me behind to go to San Juan, another provedince. And i am staying here with... well I dont know actually, because im training again haha! I go to the offices to pick up my boy this Wednesday!! so im pretty excited for it this time. Last time it came as a suprise and I was kind of overwhelmed. But I feel a lot more prepared this time!! I got packages this week! I got dads missionary journal!! It is so amazing. Thank you jess for sending that! Beaudeddi haha, thank you o much for the pictures. Beau just gets cuter and cuter everyday! I may need to come home now to already start beating those dang boy away!! Jordy, when is prom this year? Who are you going with? I better get pictures this time. I never got any from your winter formal! Tan Man, way to prove dad wrong during the priesthood session!!! Im all up for wings after when im back. I really miss wings. Oh one more thing before I forget, we got a email from the offices that said that mail is getting so expensive and difficult, so we cant recieve anymore packages for now on. Cards are perfectly find, but no more packages. Sorry, it will save you some money haha!
Well this week was awesome. About 3 weeks ago on exchanges we found a lady with 5 kids named Yolanda that told us we could come back. So we went by this week and had a awesome lady with her and her kids about the restauration. After she asked us to come by again. so we went by again yesterday morning before conference and we got in with Yolanda, her huband Luis, and the 5 kids and taught a way awesome lesson about the gospel of jesus christ. They all loved it and are now are working towards there baptismal dates for the 26 of April. Such an awesome and prepared family!
Im sorry this is so short, we had a lot to do this morning and now have to meet the district to play some futbal. But I love you all so much and am looking forward to mothers day to see all your faces. Have a great week!!!
